As a writer I’d like to try to dazzle you with my vast experience in writing for well known gaming publications — which would certainly give me an authoritative leg up in the sea of opinion we call the Internet; unfortunately I can’t. I don’t write for Gamasutra nor do I have a regular column in Electronic Gaming Monthly. I do, however, belong to the growing global community of gamers. I’ve been gaming for the better part of my life and have noticed a trend that gaming is moving away from the isolationist hobby that it’s sometimes depicted as. As such, I have a blog. I have an opinion. And I have a passion to intelligently, constructively discuss — as with the well known gaming publications that I respect and look up to — the gaming experience in a social context.
