With Comic-Con ‘07 just under a week away I thought I’d chime in with which of the scheduled programs that interest me the most. If you just take a look at what is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, there is just too much awesome, or as the French would say, les awesome, to cover. There is also a bunch of les overlap (French for overlap) so it’s impossible to see everything. What’s a fat kid in a candy store to do? Well here are some of the few programs that this fat kid is looking forward to:

Friday

• 12:00 - 1:00 PM - Attack of the Show group signing: Let me tell you, Attack of the Show is great show in its own right, but there is just something that makes the show that much more appealing to the eyes; her name is Olivia Munn. Kevin Pereira … though not as appealing to the eyes, is kinda cool too I guess.
• 1:15 - 2:15 - Stargate Panel Discussion: Okay if there is one thing in this life that I’m guilty of legitimately geeking out on, something that a mere mention of raises that social flag of “Geek” like raising the Star Trek Vulcan greeting to a girl, it would be Stargate. So I like the show. Sue me.
• 8:00 - 12:00 AM - Bar Basic with the folks from the Totally Rad Show: Dan, Alex and Jeff from the Totally Rad Show are in town for Comic-Con, and they are having a little after party at the Bar Basic near downtown. TRS is one of my favorite video podcast, and it will be totally rad (haha get it?) to chat with ‘em in person.

Saturday

• 12:45 - 2:00 - Heroes: Exclusive Volume II Clip and Q&A: One of the better shows I’ve seen in a long time. Oh and that Masi Oka, he’s so dreaaammmmyyyy. LOL.
• 2:15 - 3:15 - Battlestar Galactica Panel Discussion moderated by Entertainment Weekly: Frakin’ hell yes I’m going to this. This is my favorite show on television, and I am totally stoked about hearing more about the upcoming TV movie “Battlestar Galactica: Razor”. Long live the Battlestar Pegasus and hot Asian cylons!!
• 3:30 - 4:30 - Penny Arcade Gabe and Tycho Q&A: Creators of my favorite web comic. I hope the fruit f*%cker makes an appearance.

These are just a small subset of the things I have planned. For a stalking guide full list of what I have planned for my trip to “The Con”, you can check out my schedule for Friday and Saturday. Oh and I forgot to mention in my list of scheduled things to do that I will be in and out of EVO West to have some fun whopping people in Tekken 5 and watching some of my friends compete.

Lastly I plan on live blogging my experiences through Twitter. Lets hope my iPhone holds up with AT&T’s crappy EDGE network.
